This Ministerial Decree establishes that subsidies shall be allocated for the purpose of co-financing of the implementation of regional programmes of agricultural development with a view of setting up peasant farms and in particular: (a) purchase of agricultural land; (b) purchase of agricultural animals; (c) purchase of agricultural equipment; and (d) purchase of seeds, planting materials, fertilizers and agrochemicals. Subsidies shall be allocated in case of availability of regional and (or) municipal agricultural extension and consulting services. This Ministerial Decree contains calculation formula for subsidies. Subsidies shall be allocated in accordance with contracts the form of which shall be validated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The contract shall envisage purposeful specific use of the aforesaid subsidies.
