Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of National Food Security and Research of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the sphere of agriculture.
The Parties, within the framework of the provisions of this Memorandum and applicable laws, regulations and instructions of each state, agreed to promote the development of cooperation between organizations, institutions and business entities, activities in the field of agriculture and rural development on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. The Parties shall cooperate in the following areas: (a) crop production; (b) stockbreeding and veterinary; (c) mechanization of agricultural production; (d) seed growing and seed quality control; (e) drainage, land reclamation and irrigation; (f) scientific research in agriculture; (g) phytosanitary and veterinary control; (h) application of fertilizers; and (i) sustainable use of pastures.
