Ministerial Decree No. 206 on preparation and approval of schemes of use and protection of water resources and state expertise on these schemes.
This Decree aims at ensuring efficient use and protection of water resources, developing water management to meet the long-term needs of the country and preventing water pollution. The scheme of complex use and protection of water resources includes systematic research and projects on the main development directions of water economy. The basin schemes shall be prepared according to rivers and other basins on the basis of the general scheme. This Decree specifies the state agencies responsible of preparing and approving the schemes of ground and surface water bodies.
