Order of the Walloon Government concerning the establishment of a surveillance zone for the protection of carbon dioxide waters of and around Stoumont.
Article 1 of the abovementioned decree establishes that the monitoring zone of the Carbo-Gas dump of Stoumont and surroundings is delimited by the perimeter whose landmarks, digitized in Lambert 1972 coordinates, are defined in Appendix I. In addition within the extended zone, no work may be undertaken without the prior authorization of the Walloon Government, which may result in reducing the flow of the springs or altering the quality of the water they supply, in particular drainage, drilling, well digging, underground work, excavations whose depth would exceed three meters, changes in the flow of the streams, the flow of surface water and the current situation of the carbonic acid mofettes.
