The purpose of the present Ordinance is to adopt by means of industrial and technical requirements such measures in respect of disposal sites, landfill and waste in general, to prevent harmful effects like the pollution of surface water, groundwater, soil and ambient air and in general as well as on the whole environment, including greenhouse effect, so that all connected risks to human health as far as possible are avoided or prevented.
