This Royal Decree approves as official the following fertilizer analysis method: quantitative determination of boron (Method 22b), trace elements (Method 23e), extraction of water-soluble trace elements (Method 23f), elimination of organic compounds (Method 23g) , quantitative determination of trace elements by atomic absorption spectrometry (Method 23h), quantitative determination of zinc by atomic absorption spectrometry (Method 29b), quantitative determination of copper by atomic absorption spectrometry (Method 30c), quantitative determination of iron by spectrometry atomic absorption (Method 32b), quantitative determination of manganese by titration as permanganate (Method 33b), quantitative determination of molybdenum by gravimetry with 8-hydroxyquinoline (Method 35b), quantitative determination of cobalt by gravimetry with 1-nitroso-2-naphthol.
