A regulation to provide for the control of water quality at water resources. Water resources is defined in article 1 as places and water holding means on or under the surface of the ground. The control serves the puposes related to the water needs of human being and the conservation of flora and fauna (art. 3). Quality control implies implementation and control. Implementation is carried out through the following activities: (a) data collection; (b) Research and monitoring; (c) arrangements in in the disposal of waste water resources; (d) the coping with a decrease of quality of water; (e) other activities in support of the implementation effort, whereas control is carried out through: (a) the examination of the quality of water at the water resources; (b) the collection of information relating to the decrease in the quality of water at water sources besides seeking the causes of pollution; (c) making an evaluation and giving recommendation to the Governor concerning the decrease in the quality of water at water resources (art. 4).
