This Law establishes that List of protected species (Red List) shall contain the names of protected and endangered wild flora and wild fauna species present on the national territory. Register of protected species (Red Book) shall contain data related to status, habitats, area of population, number, place and conditions of reproduction of species inserted in the List of protected species, measures and arrangements for the protection thereof, and also risk factors. The scope of the Law shall be to ensure protection and reproduction of endangered and protected wild flora and wild fauna species present on the national territory. Protected and endangered species shall be posted under protection of the state. Hunting, fishing, removal in any way or form from their natural environment of the aforesaid species, and also destruction of their natural habitats, shall be strictly prohibited.
