Air Pollution Control Regulations, 2004 (N.L.R. 39/04).
These Regulations implement the Environmental Protection Act by further providing for the control of air pollution. The Regulations define standards for ambient air quality (sect. 3), prohibit incineration (sect. 4), define the sulphur dioxide emission cap (sect. 7), define testing requirements and procedures and provisions in case of accidents causing air pollution. The Regulations also cover gasoline distribution networks, standards for fossil fuels and monitoring and recording devices.
