Experimental Farm Stations Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. E-16).
The present Act provides for the setting up of experimental farm stations which are scientific research centres that investigate difficulties and potential improvements to food production and agribusiness. Experiment station scientists work with farmers, ranchers, suppliers, processors, and others involved in food production and agriculture. Section 5 deals with land for tree planting and timber, and section 6 concerns the application of the Expropriation Act in respect of the acquisition and taking possession of land.
