Air Quality Improvement in the Greater Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Region—Regional Emission-Reduction and Pollution-Control Facility

The project's goal is to increase and catalyse domestic financing for long-term improvements in air quality and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions through the promotion of investments in clean energy, the diversification of national green bond instruments, and the improvement of financial access for MSMEs and women. The project has enhanced air quality in the broader Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Yangtze River Delta.
