Belarus Environmental Infrastructure Facility

The project aimed to provide financing for up to three secondary municipalities to improve environmental infrastructure and services, such as water supply, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, and energy efficiency. The project was expected to have positive environmental and social impacts, as well as contribute to the transition towards a green economy in Belarus. It improved environmental infrastructure and services that can reduce nitrogen pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
