Chongqing Industrial Pollution Control and Reform Project

The project aimed to improve the environmental performance of selected industrial enterprises in Chongqing Municipality by reducing their emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases, increasing their energy efficiency, and promoting their relocation to industrial parks with better environmental infrastructure. The project installed or upgraded NOx control technologies in selected enterprises, such as low-NOx burners, selective catalytic reduction, and selective non-catalytic reduction.
