Efficient Industrial Boilers

The objective of the project was to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as well as emissions of total suspended particulates (TSP), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), through: the development of affordable, energy-efficient and cleaner industrial boiler designs; the mass production and marketing of the improved boiler models that have successfully met performance criteria; and the broad dissemination of more energy-efficient and cleaner industrial boiler technologies throughout China through institutional strengthening, improved information exchange, and energy efficiency and environmental policy reform.
