Environment Comprehensive Management Project

The project objective was to better utilize water resources to develop higher income activities for local residents without compromising the water use for irrigation, which would adversely affect the rural poor and improve the water environment of Wuliangsuhai Lake by reducing water pollution entering such lake. One of the indicators of water pollution is the concentration of total nitrogen (TN) in the lake water and the project aimed to reduce the TN concentration.
