Environmental infrastructure project

The Project Objective were:
- Improve the quality of sanitation services in Soroca.
- Reduce the discharge of pollutants, including nutrients, from Soroca municipal sources that flow into the Nistru River and, subsequently, into the Black Sea; and
- demonstrate viable nutrient reduction strategies and technologies from municipal sources for the benefit of Moldova and Black Sea region
It aimed to reduce the nutrient pollution load into the Nistru River and ultimately into the Black Sea.
