This Regulation provides for the procurement, registration, circulation, use and control of organic fertilizers, bio fertilizers and soil conditioners in order to protect sustainable environmental functions, land biodiversity and consumers/users.; Organic and bio fertilizers and soil conditioners may be obtained through domestic production or through the import from other countries. Requirements, procedures and fees for the registration of organic fertilizers, bio fertilizers and soil conditioners are set out in the Regulation.; The Regulation further provides for: obligations of test institutes; circulation of organic fertilizers, bio fertilizers and soil conditioners; supervision over fertilizers and conditioners which must be done in the phases of formula engineering, procurement, circulation and use; obligations of officers, institutes and holders of registration numbers; sanctions; etc.
