Regional Law No. 72-GD “On protection of the atmospheric air against emissions by motor vehicles”.
This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection of the atmospheric air against emissions by motor vehicles, prevention negative environmental impact by economic activities and improvement of air quality. The following arrangements shall be mandatory for all natural and legal persons operating motor vehicles: (a) reduction of emissions by motor vehicles to the atmospheric air; (b) compliance with emission standards set forth for motor vehicles; (c) vast use of ecological agents, additives, components for fuels reducing emissions toxicity; (d) use of natural gas as fuel for motor vehicles; and (e) prohibition of the use of motor vehicles causing emissions exceeding the established limits.
