Ministerial Decree No. 90 on approval of rules for monitoring of the environment and natural resources.
This Decree aims at establishing a monitoring system to ensure a) quantitative and qualitative control of harmful gases, liquid and solid wastes due to natural and anthropogenic impacts, b) environmental assessment of air, water and soil, c) regular monitoring and research on air, water and soil to determine chemical composition, degree of contamination, radioactive and hydro-biological characteristics and physical properties. This Decree sets forth provisions on monitoring of upper-air, water bodies, soil, mineral resources, biological resources, precipitation, radioactivity, harmful physical impacts, wastes, sanitary-epidemiology, protected areas and environmental impact assessment of exogenous geological and seismogeodynamic processes.
