Decision No. 406/2009/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the effort of Member States to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to meet the Community’s greenhouse gas emission reduction commitments up to 2020.
This Decision lays down provisions governing the minimum contribution of European Community Member States to meet the greenhouse gas emission reduction commitment of the European Community for the period from 2013 to 2020. It requires Member States to limit its greenhouse gas emissions within 2020 at least by the percentage set for that Member State in Annex II to this Decision.
