This Regulation aims at carrying out the national general survey of pollution sources for reducing total emission of major pollutants.; The scope of the survey covers industrial, agricultural and household pollution sources, centralised pollution control facilities and other facilities that produce and discharge pollutants. The survey will be conducted every 10 years and will: identify the number of pollution sources and their distribution in different industries and regions; identify the generation, discharge and treatment of major pollutants; establish pollution source information database; etc.; The Regulation further provides for: organization and implementation of the general survey of pollution sources; pollution source general survey data processing and quality control; commendations and penalties; etc.
