The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to waste managment. It contains at the outset a definition clause relating to terms employed therein such as “acute hazardous waste chemical”, “agricultural waste”, “aqueous waste”, “asbestos waste”, “characteristic waste” ,”commercial waste”, “corrosive waste”, “dead animal”, “domestic waste”, “dump”, “hazardous industrial waste”, “industrial waste”,”landfilling”, “pathological waste”, “PCB waste” , “radioactive waste”, “reactive waste”, “organic waste”, “toxic waste”, “subject waste”, “waste transportation system”.
