The state supervision over atmospheric air protection shall be aimed at ensuring compliance with the requirements of the national legislation regulating atmospheric air protection. The state supervision shall be carried out by the central executive body in the form of inspection of works emitting pollutants into the atmospheric air either form stationary or from non stationary sources. The national legislation determines the periodicity of inspections. The inspections must establish: (a) compliance with requirements for emission of pollutants; (b) compliance with standards and technical requirements for the atmospheric air protection; (c) maintenance of sanitary protection areas at the works with stationary sources of emissions; (d) compliance with other atmospheric air protection requirements. The state inspector must draw up report containing instructions for the compliance with atmospheric air protection requirements.
