Notification No. 2016/46 on good agricultural practices for the protection of water against agricultural nitrate pollution.
This Notification sets forth the requirements of the farmers to prevent or mitigate agricultural nitrate pollution. In order to prevent nitrate pollution in water, good agricultural practices code shall apply to soil management, nutrients, fertilizers, irrigation, and plant protection products. The agricultural establishments that implement good agricultural practices code shall be subject to inspection annually.
