Neretva and Trebisnjica River Basin Management Project (BiH/Croatia)

The objective Project was to improve water resources management and environmental protection in the Neretva and Trebisnjica river basins in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. More importantly reduced nutrient pollution from agricultural sources in the river basins. The project supported the development of a nitrogen management plan and the implementation of best agricultural practices to reduce nitrogen fertilizer use and monitored the water quality parameters, including nitrogen concentrations.
