Import and Export of Goods (Control)(Guernsey) Order, 1990 (G.S.I. No. 24 of 1990).
This Order places restrictions on the importation to and exportation from Guernsey of selected goods. One of its purposes is to control the spreading of Bovine Somatotrophin (BST). It prohibits the importation of animal manure. The prohibition does not apply to the importation of any goods, other than goods described in Schedule 1, which are proved to the satisfaction of the Board of Administration to have been consigned from the United Kingdom, the Island of Jersey, any other Island of the Bailiwick of Guernsey or the Isle of Man.
