Public Health (Offensive Trades: Storage, Treatment and Distribution of Animal Excreta and Faecal Matter) Regulations 1966.
These Regulations introduce the requirement of permission to be obtained from the Minister for the establishment and operation of a plant for the dehydration or hydration of manure and provides for the control of storage and treatment of manure. The Regulations contain rules for the storage and transportation of liquid and solid manure and empower the Minister to prohibit, by Order, specific treatment of any manure.
