This Royal Decree lays down the general standards of immission of fresh waters needing to be protected or improved to be fit for the life of the fish. This order applies to fish surface waters. It does not apply to waters in natural or artificial ponds used for intensive fish farming or brackish water. The initial part contains the definition of certain terms such as, for example, fish-farming waters.
