This Royal Decree approves the Plan for the Regulation of Natural Resources of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Cabrera Archipelago. The Annex indicates, among other things, the territorial scope of application, which includes the Cabrera Archipelago and its maritime environment; the different ecosystems are described differentiating terrestrial and marine and the particularities are established (singular elements) of each of them, between which it emphasizes, the existence of more than 60 species of algae and of three species of turtles in the marine environment. The Annex in its third part establishes limitations of uses and area specifications that, in general, refer to the limitation of uses that may affect the evolution and natural regeneration of resources, ecosystems and landscapes. Within the fishing activities, the only way of exploiting the resources allowed is traditional artisanal fishing of a professional nature. The Royal Decree also distinguishes between tourist and recreational activities, activities of the resident population, military activities, educational and cultural activities and scientific activities establishing guidelines for the exercise of each of them.
