Study on the Road Map for Air Quality Improvement in Pilot Cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Its Surrounding Areas

This Technical Assistance (TA) focused on the agenda of environmentally sustainable growth and economic growth by helping the local governments of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH) areas to establish an air pollution emission management database and develop a post CAAP roadmap for air quality improvement in selected pilot cities for scale-up in BTH region. The study in this TA delivered an emission inventory for Handan City, assessment of impact of energy consumption and industry structure on air quality an climate change, air pollution emission management database and a road map for quality improvement in Handan City.
