Bizerte Lake Environmental Project

The project's goals are to restore the lake's natural services and reconnect it to the Mediterranean Sea by decreasing land-based pollution from wastewater and solid waste. Stakeholder engagement, capacity development, and environmental education are also supported by the initiative. It also improved the wastewater treatment and management systems, and to restore the natural wetlands that can filter out nitrogen and other pollutants.
