Overview

The project objective was cleaner water at strategic spots across the eastern Adriatic Sea by decreasing pollution output, especially nitrogen. The initiative also seeks to strengthen Croatia's and Bosnia and Herzegovina's ability to manage coastal waterways and safeguard marine species. Wastewater treatment plant upgrades, adoption of best farming practises, improved environmental monitoring and enforcement, and encouragement of regional collaboration are all part of the project's scope.
