GZ-North Gaza Emergency Sewage Treatment Project Additional Financing 2

The project involved the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant, the rehabilitation of existing facilities, and the provision of environmental and social safeguards. Project used a biological process called nitrification-denitrification to remove nitrogen from the wastewater and produce effluent that meets the Palestinian standards for irrigation.
