Overview

The Greater Mekong Subregion Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security Program is a region-wide initiative covering six countries in Southeast Asia. This program is investing and building the necessary capacities for climate-friendly, safe and sustainable agrifood value chain. This cross regional project aims to strengthen climate-friendly, inclusive and gender-responsive agri-food value chain and agribusinesses that also includes crop and livestock harmonized systems, and prompts agriculture practices that contribute to enhanced and climate adaptivity in the pertinent sector for better water energy management and food security with aim to reduce poverty and promote gender equality and foster greater regional cooperation and integration.
