Fuzhou Nantai Island Peri-Urban Development Project

The project objective was to support sustainable peri-urban development in Fuzhou by improving the quality of life and environment for the residents of Nantai Island. The project aims to enhance the treatment of wastewater and solid waste, promote the use of organic fertilizers, and restore the wetlands and mangroves that can act as natural filters for nitrogen.
