Regional: Implementing the Greater Mekong Subregion Core Agriculture Support Program

The project undertook regional studies in to enhance market access for environmentally friendly agricultural products and regional interventions geared toward implementation of the Core Agricultural Support Programme (CASP). To take advantage of the subregion's location, facilities and regional forums, the programme included harmonisation of policies and standards. Technological innovation fostered ethical consumerism and sustainable natural resource management business sectors by encouraging collaboration. Additional subprojects on green water management (GWM) and nitrogen-use efficiency (NUE) were facilitated.
