Overview

The project aimed to reduce agricultural run-off contributing to nutrient pollution in the Baltic Sea. The eutrophic conditions caused by agricultural nitrogen and phosphorus were recognized by the project as the top priority transboundary water problem affecting the Baltic Sea. In addition, the project worked to assist farmers in implementing cutting-edge waste management strategies and sustainable farming practices to lessen their environmental impact.
